   3 days could be a good thing. The comics lately don’t seem to be doing anything for me - there seems to be a kind of emptiness in them. Maybe it’s hard to think of something good every day.

   I like the occasional seriousness of the comics. It’s life, not everything is light-hearted and funny. Sometimes you feel empty. I wouldn’t change a thing about the tone, and variety of tone, you put out there. You get us thinking and feeling and that is the point of art!

   I’m pretty sure the “emptiness” is part of the often contemplative tone these comics take. As for me, it’s why I subscribe to them.

   I agree. I get enough of funny from xkcd, octo pie, QC, etc. It is nice to have a break to think about things.
