That last line reminds me of Weezer’s ‘In the Garage:’ “I got my Kitty Pride/and Nightcrawler too…” Now when I re-read today’s comic it has a soundtrack in my head.

Is it just me or do all cartoonists have a thing for cats? I’ve got one, Kochalka has one, Jeffery Brown had one . . . It almost seems like a prerequisite. Maybe they help to calm us down.
